Industrial Sustainability Research (ISR) Group focuses on developing practices and technologies that reduce the environmental impact of industrial processes while promoting economic viability and social responsibility. Key areas of study include ecological footprint, carbon footprint, water footprint, GHG emissions, energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable materials, and life cycle assessment. ISR aims to develop cleaner production options that minimize resource consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and promote circular economy principles, where materials are reused and recycled. This interdisciplinary research group aim to drive innovation and implement sustainable practices in various industries, from manufacturing to construction. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve a balance between industrial growth and environmental stewardship for future generations.
